BOOKCOVER - ALICE IN WONDERLAND

ABOUT THE BOOK
Alice's Adventures in Wonderland tells the story of a young girl named Alice who plunges down a rabbit hole into the nonsensical world of Wonderland. There, she encounters a cast of peculiar characters, including a grinning Cheshire Cat, a mad tea party with the Hatter and the Hare, and the tyrannical Queen of Hearts. As Alice journeys through this strange land, her size fluctuates wildly, she attends a nonsensical trial, and everything seems to be governed by quirky rules and nonsensical logic. Through these experiences, Alice questions authority and grapples with the absurdity of the adult world, all while trying to find her way back home. The story is filled with wordplay, riddles, and fantastical imagery, making it a whimsical and timeless tale. Though seemingly a children's book, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland also contains subtle social commentary on Victorian society.

CONCEPT NOTE
This edition of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland boasts a bold and eye-catching design dominated by a vibrant red color scheme. The cover itself is a delightful peek into Wonderland. Taking center stage is the Queen of Hearts, rendered in a regal yellow dress against a crisp white background. But this isn't your typical queen! This is a Wonderland queen, and a hint of mischief lurks behind her eyes. Glimpsing from the background, we see the White Rabbit, forever in a hurry, and the Cheshire Cat's sly grin peeking out from behind a jaunty top hat – a subtle reminder of Alice's fantastical journey. And no trip to Wonderland is complete without tea, so a whimsical teapot sits nestled amongst the characters, completing this vibrant invitation into Lewis Carroll's timeless tale.
